The services that HERO provides through our mini-grant process for qualifying applicants are: 

Rent/1st and last month – applies to new rentals for applicants who have the ability to sustain future payments.

Back Rent – based on the ability of the applicant to sustain future payments.

Payment of short-term childcare - for qualifying veterans in need of assistance while attending school or pursing employment opportunities.

Housing Stipends - short-term limited assistance for Veterans attending college on the GI Bill to assist during non-paid semester breaks.
